In September 2023 we welcomed Vinny to our coaching staff! A proud Team 312 wrestling alumnus, Vinny has made history as our program’s first-ever IHSA State Champion.
Vinny’s journey has taken him from the mats of Team 312 to the collegiate level, where he excelled at the Division 2 powerhouse McKendree University. Prior to his college career, Vinny honed his skills here with us at 312 while attending Ridgewood High School. His crowning achievement came in 2016 when he secured the 220lbs IHSA State Championship during his senior season.
Vinny’s homecoming to Team 312 as a coach symbolizes the culmination of eight years of hard work and dedication invested in our program. He’s not just a coach; he’s a living testament to the impact of Team 312. His story inspires us all and underscores the legacy of excellence that defines our wrestling family.
